How do I register with Liberty Resourcing?

It is easy and stress free. Simply email your CV across to us in a MS Word Document with a brief covering letter telling us about yourself. Once received, your details will be transferred to a Consultant who will then call you to have a quick chat about your career ambitions, desired salary, availability and preferred locations. If we are able to match your criteria against a current vacancy that we have, you will then be invited to our office in London Bridge for an informal meeting.

What is the purpose of having a meeting if we have spoken on the telephone?

Whether you are tea and coffee drinker, or simply not thirsty, we like to meet our candidates in order to put a face to a CV. It is important to us that we get to know each of our candidates in order to find out what it is that makes you tick. The meeting enables us to extract as much information as we can to formulate a strong and attractive candidate profile that can be presented to prospective employers. It is imperative that our candidates feel that they can rely upon and trust us and so this initial meeting helps to formulate the foundation of a professional relationship in the future.

Will I need to provide identification?

Yes. By law we are required to have photographic identification to evidence your entitlement to work in the UK or EU. If you are British or an EU National, your European ID card will suffice, although a passport is preferable. For all non- UK/ EU Nationals, a valid passport must be presented, accompanied by a valid visa.

How long will the registration last?

The registration process can last anything between 20 minutes to an hour, if not longer. The more time you can spend with us, the better!

What happens after the registration?

The purpose of the registration is to determine whether you would be suitable for any vacancies that we are recruiting for and so if your Consultant considers you to be a strong candidate for a particular position, they will be in touch to discuss it in a bit more detail and hopefully organise an interview for you with the client! We know how quickly life can change direction so please do let us know of any changes to your personal circumstances so that we can ensure that we are looking for the right job for you.

Do you provide assistance with interview preparation?

Absolutely. You may be the perfect candidate for a job but if you are unable to articulate why the job has your name on it; it is unlikely that you will progress to the next stage in the recruitment process.
It is easy to let nerves get the better of you or to become tongue tied; that is where we step in. In an informal, yet professional way, we will equip you with the skills to tackle any question that is thrown at you with confidence. Just think of the interview preparation with us as being like a dress rehearsal and then the main event is not quite as daunting.

How easy is it to transfer from temporary to permanent work?

Extremely easy! Many of our candidates are available to work immediately and find that temporary assignments are an excellent way of gaining experience within a particular industry whilst earning at the same time. There is of course always a chance that a temporary position becomes permanent and so it is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and personality!

How private is my CV?

We will not disclose your details or submit your CV to any third party without your permission, not just because it is illegal to do so, but because you reserve the right to decide who views such personal details.
If we feel that you would be an excellent candidate for a particular role, we will obtain your consent prior to forwarding your CV on.
