£30,000.00 - 40,000.00 Per Annum


This role is for a Community Care, Court of Protection Solicitor. For this role, we are only able to consider applications from candidates with a good knowledge and experience of Court of Protection, a general knowledge of public law will not be sufficient for consideration for this role.

My client seeks to appoint a newly qualified with 0 to three years’ PQE. You will be providing quality advice and representation in community care and Court of Protection matters. Most of their work is funded by legal aid but also fund cases by way of Conditional Fee Agreements and private fees. 

They are looking for someone who has experience of community care law work including challenging assessments and care plans, ensuring that local authorities comply with their safeguarding duties, identifying judicial review challenges and potential Court of Protection cases.

Experience of judicial review work and representation in the Court of Protection is essential. 
Given that most of their work is publicly funded, knowledge of legal aid funding is also required.
You will be working for clients with a range of needs, some of whom are in very vulnerable situations such as facing eviction or a lack of community care services.
