Procurement Manager- Paper

My client, a leader in global business process automation, is seeking a Procurement Manager for their UK office. You will be part of a European team and will be responsible for the management and delivery of the procurement function. It would be desirable if you can speak another European language- French or German.



 
Key responsibilities:

Cost effective procurement of all paper, envelope, marketing material.
Manage the supply base and monitor and review performance.
Negotiate and review terms with existing and new suppliers to gain cost improvement, value add and quality.
Purchasing products and managing suppliers, with reference to quality, cost and on time delivery.
Manage supply chain process ensuring product and stock delivery schedules adhere to company requirements.
Work closely with the operational and internal teams to ensure the contracts run smoothly and delivery of strong processes and procedures.
Develop the tender process and identify new supplier accounts when a contract comes up for renewal.
Suppliers are based across Europe. You must have experience of working with clients based on an international basis.
 
 

Essential Knowledge

Reel to reel and cut sheet specification and buying.
Envelope procurement specification and buying.
Offset printed paper specification and buying.
Marketing material specification and buying.
Fluent English and another European language.
 

 
About you:

10 years procurement experience of cut sheet, reel to reel and offset paper, envelope, marketing material and offset paper.
Track record in achieving cost saving.
Excellent organisation skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Effective communicator.
Great at building relationships.
