Job Title: Insurance Account Executive

Location: London Bridge

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Our client, an independent broker to the real estate sector, are looking for an Account Executive to join their team in their London Bridge office.

This role would be ideal for someone with previous work in the broking industry and an advanced knowledge of insurance looking to move to a smaller, close-knit team with maximum involvement.

Roles and Responsibilities;

Arranging commercial insurance for a variety of clients, including but not limited to, property owners, commercial combined, office, retail, household, travel, and motor fleet.
Managing own portfolio of clients, ranging from medium and large clients.
Responsible for generating new business via incoming calls, referrals, and recommendations, providing quotations, mid-term adjustments, claims and handling renewals (circa 30 - 50 per month), general enquires, chasing premiums, dealing with general administration and cross selling.
Client meetings face to face at their offices Meeting underwriters to negotiate renewal terms Mentoring junior staff members Supporting Accounts Teams with debtors, insurer statements and finance queries Supporting CEO to ensure the smooth running of their portfolios.
Liaising with clients and insurers regarding any policy issues.
Ensuring all clients receive proposal proms, TOBA’s, commission forms etc…

You Will;

Have at least 3 years’ experience in the broking industry, ideally with property experience, including D&O, PI Combines Liabilities, and other general insurance experience
Be working towards your Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications
Be an excellent communicator and team player
Have strong computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, Acturis
Have strong attention to detail
Have an advanced knowledge of the insurance industry
Broking experience/ claims experience
Knowledge of FCA rules and regulations
Have a polite telephone manner
Have excellent interpersonal skills
