HR Business Partner (Brooklyn, New York)

Global Education Group, UK Head Quartered and with offices throughout UK, US and Europe have a new role for an experienced HR Business Partner.

·       Proven experience of a similar level generalist HR role Able to communicate concisely, and persuasively in writing and verbally, a good listener Proficiency in Microsoft Office

In this role you will provide full range of operational HR support to a teams across the US. With dual reporting to the UK based Head of HR and the US based Head of Operations, the postholder will deliver a complete and comprehensive HR service to all members. Focussed on talent attraction, engagement, development and retention, this role will encompass managing the recruitment lifecycle, onboarding of new hires, and overseeing benefits and payroll, while advising managers and advocating for employees on all HR matters.

Duties:

·       Manage recruitment activities through to candidate appointment, including the development of recruitment strategies for in-house campaigns

·       Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, advertise, short list and oversee interview and selection campaigns, aimed at attracting talent

·       Support the development and delivery of onboarding, ensuring new starters are fully on boarded and 3rd party providers are notified, giving new talent the best possible start • Promote and encourage employment engagement activity to help remote team members stay connected

·       Work with and manage 3 rd party benefit providers to coordinate the administration of employee benefits, including for new starters, leavers, and annual renewals

·       Work with and manage 3rd party Payroll provider to ensure accurate Payroll execution

·       Be the primary contact for US employees on any HR queries

·       Support the annual performance review process, identifying training needs and developing a comprehensive learning and development plan focussed on developing and retaining talent

·       Work with UK based HR to ensure equitable practices are in place across the US and UK

·       Support a review of HR policies and procedures to reflect up to date legislation and best practise Develop and maintain strong, dependable relationships with stakeholders and be viewed as a trusted and specialist advisor

·       Work in partnership with managers on performance management, absence management, employment relations, interpreting and advising on employment legislation as appropriate

·       Support employee development though the delivery and/or coordination of training interventions and solutions

·       Contribute to future HR projects and initiatives, from conception to launch
