£65,000-75,000 + bonus

Global Business Technology / Process Automation Group have a new role for a skilled and experienced Pre-Sales Business Consultant.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5+ years’ applicable experience in customer management, presales and/or design of customer solutions
  • Strong business acumen and technical aptitude
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience building hi-level customer relationships with both technical and business contacts
  • Flexibility, accuracy
  • Entrepreneurial thinking
  • Willing to travel within EMEA


In this role, you will deliver support to the EMEA Sales organisation during the sales and bid process and act as the project (bid) owner in providing solution proposals, functional specifications and pricing estimates (being either a service or technical solution that our client is providing) to meet customer requirements. This includes alignment of proposal with Operations, Business Solution Group, IT and other departments involved (e.g. HR, Finance).


  • Analyse and reflect customer business requirements for both solutions and services we want to provide
  • In conjunction with Sales team, provide professional presentations or demonstrations for clients addressing specific business cases
  • Support operational/delivery excellence through precise requirements delivery for implementation of solutions/services
  • Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic or required situation to ensure comprehensive requirements are gathered for new opportunities good understanding of the requirements and objectives of customers.
  • Ensure comprehensive requirements are gathered for new opportunities to best position Exela to deliver with success
  • Engage with solution and deal teams to get business cases described and calculated
  • Support new solution/service enablement by identifying potential business cases and defining matching services for the markets in scope
  • Support business strategy to ensure customer and revenue growth.
  • Ensure quality of bids and functional specifications
  • Professional bid management (driving the completion of timely offer submission)
  • Identify cross- and upselling opportunities together with Sales and Strategic Deal Teams
  • Together with Business Strategy, identify and define new solutions and services creating new business opportunities
